The Royal Wedding 2018

The world celebrated the union between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in what is undoubtedly the biggest marriage of the year. The royal couple tied the knot on a lovely Saturday, 19 May 2018, in the grand Windsor Castle that has witnessed the marriage of numerous royal weddings.

Plenty of top celebrities graced the wedding, including George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, Serena Williams, Oprah Winfrey, James Corden and Carey Mulligan.  Sir Elton John attended the wedding and also performed at the lunchtime reception for the newlyweds.

Billboard Music Awards

This year’s awards were particularly memorable as the music community rallied behind important social causes. From the rousing, powerful performance by Shawn Mendes and the Marjory Stoneman choir, to the poignant tributes to gun violence victims by Kelly Clarkson and the #TimesUp and #MeToo movement – touched on by 2018 Icon Award recipient Janet Jackson; a testament to the inexplicable role that music plays in uniting us as one community.

The other talk of the town is BTS, the world famous South Korean boyband, who was present and performed their hit track ‘Fake Love’ – a moment of #AsianPride as they became the first Korean act to perform at the awards. The boys won the Top Social Artist awards, beating out other top acts such as Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato.
